Title: Random inbox emails being moved to my trash folder
Post by: mattock on September 09, 2010, 06:05:15 AM
Hi Im new to roundcube and I have a problem.

Everyday I get random emails from my inbox that I want to keep put into the trash folder,  So I have to be careful before emptying the trash and often move the ones I dont want to delete back to the inbox, can anyone tell me why ?
Many thanks

Im not sure what version I have,, I presume my server installed the latest one for me

This look more like some kind of spam filtering is active on the server with i.e. SpamAssasin. When a message meets the criteria set in that spam filter software the mail is stored in the Trash-folder

HI Thanks for the quick response.

If it is a spam filter, then how could some of the mail that is being moved to trash have been in my inbox for weeks before being moved ?

It randomly puts some a few emails in, some might be older emails than others?
thanks again
