Upgraded to 0.4 and everything seems to be working OK (with some useful bug fixes - thanks!).
Can't get the new threaded feature working :(
"List columns" drop-down shows Threads & Subjects as mandatory selections, but the messages are not showing grouped in a tree view.
Can't find an option to enable this, what am I doing wrong?
Jim
I see that you are using hMailserver ...

hMailserver does not support threading.
Correct, I am using hMail.
You learn something every day, and I've just learnt that threading needs support of the server and client, I thought it was just the client.
Thanks.
Jim
Hang on, but I also use Thunderbird and that shows in threads.
Is TB doing it's own thread processing?
Jim
Yes I know. But Roundcube needs support by the server backend. It was requested to implement client side threading into Roundcube. Devs denied the request. It would need a huge coding overhead and it might be a performance issue too. You can't compare a desktop application with a web application in this point.
Well aware of the differences between web and desktop apps and what's possible (I'm a .NET dev professionally), so understand what the two different apps are doing.
I've asked the question on the hMail forum (along with others!) to see if they will implement it in the next version.
Thanks for the input.
Jim
There is a poll in hmailserver forum. Maybe you want to push your request by voting for it.

Voted!
It's quite an old poll, but there again hMail development has slowed at the moment so they might pick it up.
