Title: Where is my Spam?
Post by: emal011 on September 30, 2010, 06:59:47 AM
Ok, I´m was having Spam problems with the Release, and now i install SpamAssassin wich has help a lot.

But, where the Spam goes? I create a Spam folder in rouncube settings, and nothing in it!

How can i configure it? I´m using hMailServer 5, SpamAssassin and roundcube (under Windows server 2003).

SA works already, but i don´t find the way to see the spam mails in the spam folder, or SA it´s just delete the mails?

Any body have a tipp?

Moving spam into specific folders has to be done by the server backend.

As you use hMailserver and Spamassassin you could us my hmail_spamfilter plugin (see links in my signature). Make sure to set 'Spam delete threshold' in hMailserver settings high enough to avoid the deletion of spam mails.

Ohhh... thanks for the answer, I already read in the Assassin wiki, that my petition muss to be apply for an external plugin.

Now, I already download and install ur plugin, but what is 'Spam delete thershold' settings high? in my paenl is 20 but i don´t know if that is high enough...

I try to test it a couples of days...

You have a lot of interestings plugins, where i can find info of each one?

#1 - 20 is high enough.
#2 - Plugin_Repository ? Roundcube Webmail (http://trac.roundcube.net/wiki/Plugin_Repository) / myroundcube - Project Hosting on Google Code (http://code.google.com/p/myroundcube/)

their hMail spamfilter settings.

Hey! thanks for the reply, now I see the Account administration! super!
Sorry, but at the beginning i didn´t saw that I have to add 'settings' to the configuration, now all works good, I just have to test it!

One more question, if I use some mail programs, Thunderbir-Outlook, the spam folder is downloaded too?
