Title: Formatting the email differently
Post by: iLean Solutions on October 28, 2010, 03:24:48 PM
Hi, is it possible to change the way Roundcube puts your email signature at the bottom with the cursor when replying to an email? And also, when replying to an email, why do all the ">" come up on every line? it doesn't make the emails look clean.

Please help me, I can't find anything onthe settings. thank you.

I'm not sure exactly which version of RC the reply above/below options where introduced but certainly in the latest version of RC they are there. I guess thats what you are asking. the ">" for the quoted text are IMO standard across all mail clients when replying to a plain text email. may be i have misunderstood.

It seems I don't have the latest version of RC 0.4.2   - Can someone tell me how I can upgrade it on my server? I tried updating my cPanel to its latest version, and it is, but RC has not updated, is there a way to update it manually? Please help, thank you

Regards

You can upgrade cPanel's RoundCube install manually but it would be bettor if you do a separate install of RoundCube so you don't mess with cPanel's configuration.

Thank you, do you have a link where I can find instructions on how to go about doing this?

Thank you

It just like upgrading any other installation of RoundCube. You can read the upgrade instructions here: Howto_Upgrade ? Roundcube Webmail (http://trac.roundcube.net/wiki/Howto_Upgrade). The RoundCube files should be in: /usr/local/cpanel/base/3rdparty/roundcube/ and you can access the RoundCube database from WHM -> SQL -> phpMyAdmin the database should be named roundcube.
