I found this old plugin on googlecode, apparently there hasn't been any interest for this for a long time.
I think it's a very valuable function.
And with minor tweaks you can make the code work.
Is it possible to get just a few words on why this isn't on the roadmap, at some point? Because it should be a core function, I guess?
Is the code totally bad or what?
I need full search function as well as well like on the thunderbird.
