Are there any plugins to set password to folders in Roundcube or should I modify source code?

As far as I know there is nothing like that.

Why do you need it? Sounds strange to me.

It's useful, when different users use the same mail account. My client told me to implement such function in the webmail.

IMO, this is not a task for the client application. This should be done server side by using shared folders.
