Title: Multiple account
Post by: wastedbrain on May 15, 2011, 05:45:11 AM
Hi,
I have just installed for the first time roundcube on my server, but I have a question: is there a way to manage multiple imap accounts with only 1 login.
For example I need to be able to login with [email protected] and see the mail of [email protected], [email protected], [email protected]. Is there a way or plugin to configure in the settings page additionals imap accounts?

thanks a lot,
Davide

Hi skaero,
thanks for the suggest but if I haven't misunderstood that plugin allow to decide what domain use before the login. I need to manage multiple imap accounts after the login. The best thing should be to have a folder for each address configured. Is there a plugin to do that?

thanks again,
Davide

With the accounts plugin you login to one account and then you can setup multiple other imap accounts even on different server and swtich between them without having to logout/login to each of them.

To save others searching, that link does not lead to any downloadable plugins anymore.

Yes, but please tell users this link is a commercial project before directing them there.

Otherwise all you get is unhappy users feeling like they are being led down a false path.

Well it was originally open source, but since has moved to being a commercial project. But I see your point and I'll try to keep in it in mind when linking to it in the future.
