Title: Accent in base_dn for LDAP address book
Post by: sarou on August 11, 2011, 09:17:28 AM
Hello all,
I want to deploy RC at my french research institute, but I discover an issue in main.in.php.
We have an AD domain and I want to connect the RC address book in this directory.
But my base_dn is : "cn=Unités, DC=pouet, DC=local"

If I use Users instead of Unités it's work...

I suppose the accents are not supported in this config file.

I try to convert in UTF8, I try differently ansi code, but nothing work...

My server is a CentOS 5.6, with locales configured to UTF8 fr_FR.

Have a trick or an idea ?

Thank you for your work.

No help ? This project is still alive?
We don't have this problem with GLPI, MRBS or Horde/imp...
Thank you for replies, have a nice day,
Sarou

Ok, I've retried but with "ou" instead of "cn" and it's working...
