Title: SSL Possible On Apache 1.3.4?
Post by: johnywhy on August 27, 2011, 01:05:05 PM
hi

my shared 1and1 web host is running Apache 1.3.34.

your requirements say 1.4 or greater is required for ssl. Is that for sending, receiving, or both?
Howto_Requirements (http://trac.roundcube.net/wiki/Howto_Requirements)

is there any way to achieve ssl with roundcube on apache 1.3.34?

Does it depend on whether i use an SMTP server or PHP configured for mail delivery?

Would mod_ssl or OpenSSL help?
http://www.modssl.org/

thanks

There's no requirement for Apache version.
