Title: is roundcube for me?
Post by: piernik on September 19, 2011, 01:57:20 PM
Hi,

I'm thinking about using roundcube in my CRM online system. Can You tell me is it a good choice?

I have polish infirma CRM online system.
Companies can make their accounts and within one company there is multiple user accounts.
Every company has its own database (mysql).

I don't have webmail implemented yet and I know I have to do it. But how? Building my own from start? Maybe using webmail script like roundcube?

What functions do I need?
1. Every company has it's own database - do I have to make multiple roundcube instances, or can I use one copy.
2. Every company user can use his own mail account - IMAP or SMTP. I don't want to use my domain mails ex. [email protected]
3. I want to use addressbook from CRM system - not roundmail one.
4. I want to mark mails - assign them to company, topic, cost or refenue from CRM system.
5. I want to integrate webmail with CRM system - my own header, menu and so on.
6. I want to use user defined web templates.

I need all of those function - can I achieve them using roundmail with plugins? Or making my own webmail is better idea?

Please I need Your opinion
