Title: File attachments from cloud?
Post by: eifelperle on November 08, 2011, 02:42:41 AM
Dear roundcube community.
I hope this is the right place to post my question. Before I install, I'd like to know this:
Is there a way to attach files from a "cloud", a folder on the same webspace that is specified as storage for future file attachments?

I want to be mobile with my webmail without having to carry around my files on a stick. I want to upload the files to that storage folder at home and be able to attach them to an email when I'm elsewhere and only have a browser and nothing else.

I hope this was clear as English is not my first language.
Thank you so much in advance!
Anja

Not that I'm aware of but it could be done with a plugin.

Interesting idea ...

@eifelperle:

How is the "cloud" folder accessible? By FTP, SSH, HTTP(S) or in another way? Which authentication method is used? Could you setup a test folder for me?
