Title: upgrade issues on remote shared server via SSH v1.2 to v1.2.1
Post by: stripey on August 12, 2016, 07:39:30 PM
A newbie here, but just followed the wiki upgrade instructions and found I was stuck, fortunately the hosting support team, who use a customised version of roundcube, resolved the issue, so thought it worth sharing and maybe a note in the wiki being added to save others following in my steps from a frustrating experience ... of course, if there is a better solution or different thoughts, I'm all ears!

going from v1.2 to v1.2.1
clearly this is PHP version dependant and maybe hosting companies may very slightly

instead of running this in the folder with the new installer files
     bin/ <install path of RoundCube>

as the is in fact a PHP file (or so I'm told - sorry newbie here!)
php-5.6-cli bin/ <install path of RoundCube>

I'm sure the path to PHP will change host to host, but this information mght just be enought to allow a support team to work out the correct syntax to make things work. I would have been very stuck if the support team were not switch on and prepared to work at the issue.

I hope this helps others on shared hosts.
