Can't access email or website

I apologize if posting in the wrong area. 

When I try to log onto my website or access my email, I get a message saying the website is temporarily unavailable and that I should contact technical support.  I can't reach my web guy and I have a sinking feeling. 

Any suggestions as to what this might be?

The hosting provider must be having problems. There isn't much you can do other than waiting for your provider to come back online. Contact them.
