I found this old plugin on googlecode, apparently there hasn't been any interest for this for a long time.
I think it's a very valuable function.

And with minor tweaks you can make the code work.

Is it possible to get just a few words on why this isn't on the roadmap, at some point? Because it should be a core function, I guess?

yes, when you download the package, there is a readme.txt - I just followed the steps in this txt file.

Okay, so nothing special :-/ That's a pitty, because that wasn't working with my installation. Oh well, I'll search the logs. Thanks for the reply!
