Installation help needed.

Hi,

I'm following How to Install in the Wiki but I get this message:

DATABASE ERROR: CONNECTION FAILED!
Unable to connect to the database!
Please contact your server-administrator.

I've set up the DB exactly as laid out in the wiki, given roundcube full privileges & flushed privileges. The $rcmail_config['db_dsnw'] line in db.inc.php matches the MySQL user details.

I'm not sure what else to check, grateful for any help.
