Selecting multiple files in file attachment dialog: works in Chrome, not in IE

Some of our user base has to use Internet Explorer.

One user has discovered that when you go to attach files to an email in IE, you can't use control and shift to select multiple files. In Chrome, it works fine. However, other sites with file upload (hotmail, facebook) work fine with IE and multiple files.

This is with 0.8.5.
