save username & password for login / login time / shorten user name at login

Hello -

Is there a way to save my username and password on the login page, so I don't have to keep typing it every time I go on my email? 

After a certain amount of idle time I get logged out.  Is there a way keep me logged in until I log out? 

If there is not a way to save my login information, can I shorten my username so I don't have to keep typing in my email address.

All of those options are available, but require admin access to the server to edit the main config file. Are you running your own Roundcube installation, or are you using an installation run by someone else? If you don't run the system, you would need to ask your provider to change the system preferences, which they may or may not be willing to do.
