Roundcube Login Problem

I give credit to the Roundcube Community for the great job done over the years.   
I am an undergraduate student of computer science in a tertiary institution undergoing final year project and i've been asked to use roundcube to create a mail server. i've downloaded the application and installed successfully but when i tried to launch it displays a login page which i was not prompted to provide any login credentials during the installation.
Please need your help urgent on what actually went wrong.

Hi opex044!
Roundcube is not a mail server... Roundcube is a web based IMAP client.

Try this:

• Get a Google mail account (gmail account)
• Go to roundcube login page and type your user, password and if necesary in the server input box type: ssl://imap.gmail.com:993
