Can roundcube be used without CPANEL?

Hello i have a client that wants to continue using RC on his website but that server is not going to have CPANEL installed. is it possible to use RC without CPANEL? i have searched but was not able to find a conclusive answer. Any help is appreciated thanks

Yes, cPanel uses RoundCube but it isn't part of it in any way. Just follow the install: http://trac.roundcube.net/wiki/Howto_Install
