Replace Replace LDAP vars Base-dn

Hi

I am trying to set-up private address books, but %u in base-dn does not appear to be getting replaced with the username, I can see it getting passed to slapd as %u instead of the username.

It is working ok in bind-dn.

Anyone any ideas?
