Installation Error

I have uploaded all the files for round cube and modified the /config files as well as changed the permissions on /log and /temp. I have another PHP mysql database working on this server so I'm pretty sure it should work. But all I get when I open /index.php, is strange jibberish text. The only thing the error shows is this:

What is going on?

105 line in rcube_db.inc = connect problem to base. check your password and log mysql
