Very slow searching

I run e-shop and i have 3 email boxes, two of them are containing 500-1000 emails in inbox and everything is working fine

But one of email boxes which have over 5000 in inbox is very slow - only when searching, i need to search a lot and this is pain in a..

Squirrelmail works fast - so what the hell is wrong with roundcube ? it is software which works nice only with low amount of emails ?

I'd say it's a difference in search command/criteria between Squirrel and Roundcube. Are you sure you search with the same criteria (headers vs. body) and sorting/threading order?
