Version 1.0.1 Through BlueHost - wordwrap not working

A client of mine is using v.1.0.1 through BlueHost... she just set up the connections on her new computer, but does not have wordwrap in her email messages. She also had a problem with double spacing... I had her turn off HTML, and that stopped that problem. Any suggestions re: wordwrap?
