mail client that can apply rules on an IMAP mail

I'm looking for a mail client that let me create and apply rules locally to my mail application. I've tried with Windows Live Mail, but WLM don't allow apply rules to IMAP mail.
I cannot install plugins on server (because I don't manage my mail server)
Any suggestion?
