Roundcube Webmail 1.0.4

Why are emails sent through Outlook through our server, not saved as sent emails in RoundCube?

Is there any way of doing this, so we can monitor any activity on our email servers?

Also, if RoundCube is setup on one email account, along with another PC setup for the same email account, would there be any issues with emails not delivering to both locations?

Thank you.

You need to setup the other client to save messages into the Sent folder, its a per client setting.

The Outlook settings are set to save all emails on server, does Outlook and Roundcube not share the same data log files?

To be clear on our issue, we have 2 PCs accessing the same email account [email protected]

PC One using Outlook to send replies
PC Two using Outlook to save emails for historic purposes or if one PC crashes, etc.

The emails sent from Outlook are not saving the emails on the server, even though the Outlook settings are set to save emails on server.

Why are the emails not saving in Roundcube sent folder?

Thank you.

There is the problem, you need to get Outlook to save the email on the server. Keep in mind Roundcube isn't the mail server, its just a email client that is accessing the mail server.

Why do all these posts end without any resolution?

Perhaps the Outlook user found the right options to save the Sent email on the server?

For Outlook 2010 it looks something like this:
Open IMAP by clicking on File, Account Settings and then double click on the IMAP account.
Click on More Settings.
Select Sent Items.
Enable "Save sent items in the following folder on the server".
Choose the same folder to save Sent email as Roundcube is using to save the Sent email.

Hope that helps.
