Customize theme in common.css shows no effect

Hello, I would like to cutomize my theme. I have selected the theme classic in the settings and change the body background-color in common.css in /usr/local/www/roundcube/skins/classic/common.css Unfortunately the color did not change. I also restarted apach with sudo apachectl -k restart. Thanks for any hints.

is there also a common.min.css in that folder? if so you need to update it or delete it. and ofc check your browser cache.
