hello team, how do i add avatar to my identity

i am not a tech savy person but i can pretty much find my way around things.

i tried adding an avatar to my identity on roundcube but whenever i send a mail my reciepients still sees the "?" sign instead of the avatar i had selected. what could be wrong?

That does not look like a screenshot from Roundcube. There is no universal way to set these images, it depends on the mail client you are using. For example Roundcube uses images from your contacts if there there is one. Or you can pull in images from 3rd party providers like gravatar using a plugin https://plugins.roundcube.net/packages/prodrigestivill/gravatar.
