I have setup roundcube and seem to have most of the features working. The first issue I noticed however was when I would go to delete a message. I would get an error:

Server Error: UID MOVE: Mailbox doesn't exist

I had to create a folder names TRASH... there already existed a Deleted Messages folder, but the messages did not go there when removed from the Inbox. Why would I have to create this TRASH folder for each user. How do I get the basic out of the box install to use the Deleted Messages folder?

I am using hMail Server for my mail app...

You don't have to use "Trash", but you have to tell Roundcube which folder do you like to use as Trash via config file and/or Settings > Preferences > Special Folders..

Thanks for this. If I go the config file route (which seems the most economical) - How do I specify the "Deleted Messages" folder which seems to be the default. Like I said I want to be able to do this 1 time for al users.

What is the proper syntax? Thanks.
