I'm New - Could Someone Bring Me Up To Speed?

I just installed RoundCube, and I wish to customize it for my site. Assuming you're not new to these forums like me, could you explain what I need to know to customize the theme/style or create my own? Could you also recommend popular or necessary plug-ins? Thanks a ton.

When I was developing a theme for RC, I've downloaded several other themes and examened the html and css files. There is no documentation yet for developing themes. So your main source will be the current available themes.
