Hi!

RC is a cool peace of software. I've only one problem so far. The UI is done in a way which makes it not ideal for netbooks. Netbooks have a low vertical resolution, so the big header stuff above the message lists really kills one. You need to make the message list very small or otherwise the message preview window is too small for reading.

It would be really cool if the next version of RC also looks and works good on an small netbook screen.

an other space saver idea. one line per shown header in the message preview is a little bit much. e.g. the date could be shown on the right side of the subject or something like this.

ps: there seems to be a bug with the font size of input fields in firefox under linux - under windows it is fine. under linux the font is to big even on the login screen, but the send message window suffers the most.

First of all thanks for the input. Second, you are free to modify the skin so you can change the sizes or you can use another theme which is more suitable for your needs.

And finally someone can pick up your wishes and add them to a theme he or she is developing.

You can download the Groupvice4 theme here.

You may want to try one of the skins that uses three-column views (preview pane to the right of the message list) instead of the default with the message list on top of the preview pan. This should give you an additional couple hundred pixels of vertical space for your interface.
