RoundCube and Mozilla Thunderbird

Hi, I am new user and I am Italian, excuse the language but I'm writing with a translator .. I will be brief, I can not run Mozilla Thunderbird with RoundCube, there is a step by step guide on how to configure it? I am using Mozilla Thunderbird but also fits Microsoft Outlook (the guide)
I think the settings are smtp.mywebsite.xyz .. correct?:confused::confused::confused:

RoundCube is a webbased mail client. It is not a mail server!
