date.timezone problem!

i have just updated to roundcube 0.3. my problem is this!

date.timezone:  NOT OK(cannot be empty and needs to be set)

my hosting company (one.com) will not let me use a php.ini file to get around this. is there any way I can use roundcube without it? version 0.2.2 worked with no problem!

any help appreciated, I have no mail at the moment!
