trouble receiving mail

I can send mail but not receive mail. Upon first installing roundcube I was able to receive mail and now I cannot. Could this be due to a change I may have made in my main.inc.php file? I have tried to change different settings and ports but still am not able to receive mail.

btw I am able to receive mail from the same server but not from gmail.

can you be more specific?  mail server type, roundcube version?

roundcube isn't a mail server, so if you aren't receiving mail, it's probably nothing to do with roundcube.

what error does she get? is it just recieving or sending and recieving?
verify the server names (POP3 & SMTP) then disable firewall & antivirus and try it.
