Email sending help!

I am new to roundcube, previously I have only used Gmail, and I have never posted to a forum so please help me and point the way if this question already exists somewhere.  I signed up for a freehostia account and roundcube was suggested along with it.  I have made an email address and I can email to it but I cannot send any messages from it.  I make an email and then  I get a failed to send message once I try to send it.  Did I need to download something or change something?  Is there a specific way to enter mail addresses?  Please advise.

Did you install RoundCube or are you using the one they provided?

I am using the one they provided.  Should I download something?

You would need to contact your host and have them fix it. I did notice that they don't support SMTP on there free package.
