Difficulty signing up

I answered "mail" for the NoSPAM question "What kind of program is roundcube" and the system puked on me.  it seems to me RC handles mail.  wtf?

also I had very much difficulty reading those bloody images.  couldn't we have a simpler system?  I was very tempted to just forgo the forum and sign up for a mailing list.
