IMAP Error: Could not connect to localhost at port 143: Permission denied

Hi,

I know this problem has been reported (and solved) many times in this forum, but i didn't fix it and i run out of ideas now.

It's not my first installation of RC, i've had many running and i've never been into this apparently simple trouble.
I'm on a Fedora 13 with Dovecot IMAP server, i can access it with no problem via telnet, but when it comes to using RC, i get the "IMAP Error: Could not connect to localhost at port 143: Permission denied" error and can't access the webmail.

I tried the IP, localhost as well as the hostname for the $rcmail_config['default_host'] variable, but i get the error each time.

SELinux is disabled.

Any hint?
