Hello,

i'm using firefox (version 3.x and 2.x).
I would like to view diferents mail address from the same web browser (at diferents tabs).

The problem is: i open a new tab and enter to roundcube with the first account. When i open the second tab, i enter with the second account; but the first tab now show the second account.

I've this problem even if a open a new window of firefox.
I've this problem too with opera and konqueror.

I think the problem is with the sesions id.
If i check the two accounts with two diferents web browsers it works well.

Anyone have any suggesition to solve this??.

Thanks.

Not to solve, IMO. One browser with multiple tabs = One session for all tabs.

RC authenticates by session. So if you login in tab1 by user1 and then you login in tab2 by user2, tab1 will be user2.

Hi!
I'm the same problem.
I see that roundcube use roundcube_sessid cookie, is it possible to change roundcube code to use roundcube_sessid_ cookie?

In this way each tab has a different cookie/session.

Thanks in advance,
Fabio

I must admit, I'm surprised that this doesn't really seem to bother anyone - I have just up?graded from an old uebimiau installation to roundcube, and now I can only log into one mail account at a time, unless I open separate browsers for each mail account. Which, to me at least, is a big step backwards in functionality.

Is there a security problem with having separate cookie's for each tab, or am I the only one who finds this a hindrance, and therefore it has just never received any attention?
