Always save all emails in table "messages"

Hi all!
I have integrated RC in an iframe of a larger project.
The program displays informations about emails outside RC using the "messages" table and links to RC to see the original message.
Unfortunately, RC seems to save messages in this table only when they have been displayed in RC.
For example, by default no sent messages appear in this table, but while browsing this folder, the messages will be saved in this folder one after another.
Does anyone know a way to always save all messages to this table - all sent and all incoming messages?

I think it would require a re-write of some of the RoundCube core.
