Is there anyone working on a mobile skin? The current default skin is not really usable due to its minimal width requirement.

A mobile skin would most definitely be interesting; I would try to put one together, but I don't have the time right now.
Are you thinking mobile as in a WAP, more text-based skin or something more Mobile Safari (iPhone, iPod Touch) targeted?

Quote from: emmy67;21441With this tool you can customize "on the fly" (without soft reset) the look of your mobile phone launcher application, choosing from different basic skins and a from several background alternative images. Extra options are available to refine the final aspect: menu launcher buttons, analog and digital clocks, weather icons and more.

I know (I have that Spb Mobile Shell on my cell phone), but the original poster asks for a skin for Roundcube to use on a mobile device.

Our organization would be interested in a mobile skin for RC as well. Since we already have a text webmail option, we'd like a graphical choice for iPhone and similar mobile browsers.

I think it isn't easy to code a mobile skin. The reason is the AJAX which is used by app.js. So a mobile skin is not done just by re-designing the templates.

Do you know ... mail2web for pda ... ?

I guess rosali is right. Not an easy task.
I wonder if there is any documentation about classes and functions. Like which class is sending email, and which is reading them etc..

If we know them, we can create a simple mobile interface with only a read/send(text only) features.

Hello everyone. We're in the final stages of development for a Roundcube interface and skin aimed solely at mobile devices. This will completely revolutionize Roundcube usage on mobile devices, making it a lot more intuitive.

We're launching in a few days. Have a look at: RoundCube Mobile

Attached are a few screenshots

Another mobile skin is the LiteCube Mobile Skin.
Anyway, I don't really understand the necessity of a mobile skin, as the local phone/pad clients can usually connect to IMAP as well. Maybe when you use a friends device or wanna stay with the interface...
