plugin to remember login?

Is there a plugin that will keep you logged in?  I saw this thread but wasnt sure about the Sieverules plugin:

you also wouldnt happen to have a plugin to empty the trash bin all at once?  I dont want to have the trash delete everytime I leave.  I may want to hold onto the trash items for a while then delete them.  Is there a plugin that allows me to do that so I dont have to reset the "empty trash at logout?"

There is a setting in preferences to force empty trash on logout.
