Hi Everyone,

Our users ran into some trouble using the new 0.8 release on IE 7 (For testing I used 7.0)
Some parts of the layout didn't show up or dissapeared when you moved the mouse. (For instance: the folders menu on the left in "Mail" appeared initially, then dissapeared when I moved the cursor, then reappeared when I hovered over the menu in the  top right-hand corner)
There's no JS errors to speak of so I have absolutely no idea what causes this.

The first time this arrose was when we upgraded from 0.7(.2 I think, can't remember) and then again when we tried a clean install.

There was a similar problem, but in IE8. Solved using a full reset of browser settings (Internet Options -> Advanced-> Reset) and restart IE. I hope this helps.

Tried it and it didn't work.

Thanks for the help anyway.

Are you using any plugins?

sumocoders

I was, but even with the plugins disabled the problem persists.

Your looking at the fallback is no value is specified, the standard default is $rcmail_config['skin'] in <RC root>/config/main.inc.php.

Hi,

it solved when I've changed program/include/rcube_config.php and also cp -Rp /skins/classic to default , it returned in defauşt skin.
this works on IE9 and IE8 correctly. But this time identities section doesn't work in IE9.

thanks.

if you dont mind me asking, why are you doing that? there is no skin called "default" distributed 0.8, were you getting some error?

with the release of 0.8 the default skin was changed to "larry" and for people who still wanted the old look it can be found under "classic".

I hear ya brother. Still, clients wouldn't be clients if the didn't use IE.

Btw: Bug update

I tried 0.8.1, still doesn't work. I did however find something interesting when I resetted IE. After the reset, everything seemed to work until I switched pages, then everything went back to being broken.
