after upgrade, login form shows server field even if server is autoselected

Hello
with 7.2 rel, login form ask for user & password, server was autoselected with autoselect plugin.
Now, after upgrade to 0.8.1, autoselect does work fine, no prob; but login form has the 3rd  field, the server one.
It seems something has changed regarding this.
I would avoid many customers complain: what should i enter here?
and i am using old 7.2, but it's a pity ;(
