Forward as attached creates .eml which is note displayed properly

People,

I forwarded an HTML mail as an .eml attachment to a list I am on and when I read the reply, under the body of the main mail, I see header stuff and HTML gibberish from the attached mail instead of the proper formatting. In Settings, Display HTML is checked. This was a problem with 0.8.1 so I updated to 0.8.4 but still get the same problem.  I thought this was working some versions ago?
