webmail programmatically showing folders

Hi,

I'm doing a conversion script to move my current users to the webmail client.
Well when the folders are inserted, they are defaulted to not be shown. The user has to go in and do it, and they are getting confused.
How could I write a script, using IMAP, or PHP, to set the folders to be shown?
