Upgrade Fails Silently

Greetings and thank you for a fine product.

I am trying to upgrade from 0.7.2 to 0.9.5 using the upgrade script. The problem is, when I run the script (with the path to upgrade as the argument), nothing happens. It simply returns to the shell with no error message and the installation is not upgraded. I am running CentOS 5.9 and PHP 5.4. Where should I start?

I would appreciate any starting point for troubleshooting that anyone can provide. I need to get this vulnerable version updated.

Well, I'm sorry to say that I could not resolve the issue with the scripts. I ended up manually copying over the files. After that, the web installer failed to upgrade the schema (adding the system table), so that required it to manually be imported into the database. At least I got to the end.
