HTML e-mail rendering in Firefox

Hi there,

When I have the preview pane turned off in Firefox (version 27, Arch Linux), then double-click an HTML message to view it, there appears to be some weird "reflow everything with every scroll" thing going on.

It's like the divs are resizing every tick of the scroll, which creates garbage, but if you wait a few seconds, the e-mail then renders. Scroll again, it messes up, then wait, it renders.

If the message preview pane is on, scrolling within that is fine.

In order to rule out a browser version bug, I've tested on Firefox 27 (current stable), 28 (beta) and 30 (nightly). They all exhibit the issue to some extent.

Using Chromium, everything is fine.

I'll try and make a video of the problem if this is unclear and nobody else has ever seen this problem before.

Cheers.

Confirmed, but not for html messages. However, this never happened to me before Firefox 27. Looks like Firefox issue.

Strange, any idea why the preview pane doesn't do it though?

It's only the "big" message view that does it.
