Roundcube 1.0.1 Force HTTPS results in cannot load page too many redirects

Upgraded from from v1.0.0 to v1.0.1 and I encountered a problem where when access roundcube I got a cannot load page too many redirects error and no roundcube login screen.

I setup a fresh install and got the same result? editing the force https setting in the defaults config to false resolves the problem.

Anyone else come across this? I have had to leave the option set as false and use htaccess to force https now.
