cPanel installation of RounCube via Softaculous

Does anyone have any experience of installing RoundCube (RC) using Softaculous on t cPanel installation.  My host has a default installation of RC, but I can't install any plugins - don't have access to the installation - so they suggested I install it myself. Used Softaculous (via my cPanel) and when I go to the url supplied I get the login page but it doesn't accept my username/password. Error is: Connection to storage server failed.

I guess there is some config file some where, but not sure where it is or what I need to add to it.  Is there a tutorial for configuring RC hen installed via Softaculous?

I don't know of a Softaculous tutorial, maybe your host can help since they suggested it.
