My reply to an email goes to my inbox instead of my sent box

Hi,

whenever a new mail is sent no problem...but if i reply to a mail the reply is seen in the INBOX instead of the SENT BOX

can some one tell me what could be the problem? I suspect it is some setting somewhere that needs to be checked or on check like this what i discovered in a google search;:

Not sure if you've figured this out yet but...
mail preferences-viewing- uncheck "include related messages".
That should solve your problem.
Drove me nuts for a while, myself.
