Filter doesn't run on IMAP mail account on client PC

I've made a filter in my Webmail that when an mail comes from address [email protected] will move to zzz folder.
But when I made a test, in my PC mail client doesn't move to zzz folder until I log again in webmail.
Looks like when I log in Webmail, rules are applied.

Is there any way to apply webmail rules just when I open my PC mail client?

By the way, I have Windows 7 Pro and Windows Live Mail 2012 and Roundcube Webmail 1.1.3

There are several different filter plugins avaiable for Roundcube. So this is going to depend on which one you have got.

For example there is one called managesieve which is shipped with Roundcube and that manages rules on your IMAP server and so the filters will work regardless of if you have Roundcube open or not. But there are others which are client side filtering solutions inside of Roundcude, and so only work when Roundcube is open.
